Tour itinerary:

Day 1 Almaty – arrival
Arrival in Almaty. You will be met by our guide and driver and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel at 14:00. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Almaty – Bishkek
Breakfast. At 09:00 your guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby to start the sightseeing tour in Almaty: visit Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, Central State Museum, Republic Square. Enjoy panoramic view at Kok-Tobe Hill, visit Medeo Gorge.
At 15:30 transfer to the Airport to get the flight KC109 to Bishkek at 18:00. Arrival at Bishkek at 18:55. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5-6 hours.

Day 3 Bishkek – Issyk-Kul (260 km, 4 h.)
Breakfast. At 08:00 start sightseeing tour in Bishkek: visit Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Statue of Manas. See Philharmonic Hall and Victory Monument – bright examples of Soviet architecture. In the afternoon transfer to Issyk-Kul Lake . Stop on the way to see Burana tower (80 km), what has left from the ancient city of Balasagun (11-13th centuries). Transfer to Kemin village (70 km) where you will have lunch in the local Kyrgyz family at the yurt (nomadic dwelling). Continue driving to Issyk-Kul (150 km), the second largest mountain lake in the world (1600 m above sea level). Arrival at lake, accommodation at the hotel on the North coast of Issyk-Kul.

Day 4 Issyk-Kul – Bishkek (250 km, 4hrs.)
Breakfast. Free time in the morning at the Lake. After lunch transfer to Bishkek (250 km, 4 h.). On the way visit to Cholpon-Ata, where you will see petroglyphs – the rock carvings made by prehistoric people lying under the open sky. Arrive in Bishkek. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Bishkek – Tashkent
Breakfast. At 09:00 transfer to Bishkek International Airport for flight HY780 to Tashkent at 12:10 (580 km, 1 h. 20 min.). Arrival at Tashkent at 12:30. Transfer for lunch and check in hotel. In the afternoon start sightseeing Tashkent. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex and Chorsu bazar, continue to center of Tashkent with Amir Timur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Tashkent – Khudjand (170 km, 2.5hrs)
Breakfast. At 08:00 drive to Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border point Oybek (100 km, 1 h. 30 min.). After completing customs and passport control on both sides, tajik local guide and driver will meet you on the tajik side and take you to Khujand (70 km, 1 h.). Arrive in Khujand, lunch and check in hotel.
In the afternoon start sightseeing Khujand. You will explore the Sughd Historical Museum, Timur-Malik Fortress, Mosque and Madrasah of Shaikh Muslihiddin, Payshanba Bazaar. You will try delicious Tajik cuisine at the local restaurant. After you will have some free time at your disposal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Khujand – Istaravshan – Tashkent
After breakfast drive to Istaravshan (80 km, 1,5-2 hours) to visit Hazrat Shah architectural complex, which consists of Hazrat Shah Mausoleum, the grave of brother of Kusam ibn Abbas, Khudayar Valami Mausoleum, and Namazgah Mosque dating back to the 19th century. Continue to Mug Teppe, an ancient city believed to be founded by King Cyrus. After the sightseeing, return to Khudjand for lunch. In the afternoon drive to Tajikistan-Uzbekistan border point Oybek. After passing the border Oybek, the driver will meet you on Uzbekistan side and transfer to your hotel in Tashkent.

Day 8 Tashkent – Samarkand
Early breakfast. At 07:00 transfer from your hotel to railway station. Fast-speed train “Afrosiyob” departs Tashkent at 08:00 and arrives in Samarkand at 10:10 (300 km). Your guide and driver will meet you at train station to begin the city tour in Samarkand. Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi-Khahum mosque, Ulugbek observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, central Samarkand bazaar and Gur-Emir Mausoleum, authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 Samarkand – Bukhara (265 km, 4 hrs)
After breakfast continue sightseeing Samarkand: visit Afrosiyob Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Koni Ghil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry.
In the afternoon depart Samarkand and drive to Bukhara. Arrive in Bukhara, check in the hotel. Free time. In the evening enjoy dinner and folklore show program at Nodir Divan-Begi Madrasah. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 Bukhara
Breakfast. Start walking sightseeing tour in Bukhara. Visit the Mausoleum of Samani Dynasty, Ark Fortress, Chashma-Ayub, Kalyan Ensemble, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasah, trade domes, Lyabi-Khauz Complex, Chor-Minor Madrasah. Free time in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 Bukhara – Mary (390 km, 7 hrs)
After breakfast at 08:00 transfer to Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border point Alat-Farab (100 km, 1 h. 30 min.). Go through border formalities on both checkpoints. Cross 1.5 km neutral zone (transportation may not be available). Meet your Turkmenistan guide and drive to Mary through Turkmenabat (290 km, 5 h. 30 min.). Arrival in Mary, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 Mary – Merv – Ashgabat
After breakfast drive to ancient Merv (40 km, 30 min.). Merv was a major center of international trade and crafts located on the Silk Road. Discover historical park with Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Large and Small Gyz Gala, Erk Gala, Gyaur Gala, Keshk Fortress and others. Return to Mary and visit History Museum of Merv region. Take an evening flight to Ashgabat (370 km, 50 min.). Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 Ashgabat
After breakfast start sightseeing tour in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan that has recently been noted by the Guinness Book of World Records as having the most white marble-clad buildings in the world. During the city tour you will explore an archeological site of Old Nisa (included in UNESCO World Heritage list) and Spiritual Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in Central Asia. You will visit the National Museum of History, the Monument of Neutrality, Presidential Square, Ertugrul Gazi Mosque and newly built Independence Park. Intense and interesting excursion also includes a stopover at the Akhalteke horse stables and Lenin Monument. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 Ashgabat – departure
Check out from the hotel till noon. Free time till transfer to Ashgabat International Airport. End of the tour.
